Reserve 3M Half Marathon Parking in Advance with SpotHero

High Five Events is excited to introduce the partnership between the 2017 3M Half Marathon and SpotHero, the nation’s leading parking reservation app. The partnership will enable participants and spectators to find easy and affordable parking reservations, saving them both time and money.

“The 3M Half Marathon is one of the faster half marathon courses in the country and runners from all over travel to Austin to set a PR,” said Stacy Keese, co-owner of High Five Events. “It makes perfect sense to partner with SpotHero, a company that allows you to PR in finding a parking spot.”

Participants can download the SpotHero app and secure their parking for both race day and the Packet Pickup & Expo. With SpotHero, drivers know in advance where they are headed and how much they will pay so they don’t need to circle the block looking for parking, hoping to find a spot in time.

“SpotHero takes the hassle and stress out of the parking experience, enabling drivers to focus on the important things in life, like running a marathon or supporting friends and family,” said Kristen Cho, VP of Marketing at SpotHero.

The 3M Half Marathon boasts one of the fastest 13.1-mile courses in the country and will celebrate its 23rd year running in 2017. Runners will enjoy a point-to-point course with mostly downhill running that showcases some of Austin’s finest locations. Starting in north Austin and finishing in front of the Texas State Capitol, runners will appreciate a 306’ net elevation drop. Participants can register and book their hotel on the website.

Red Bull to Partner with 3M Half Marathon

High Five Events is excited to introduce Red Bull as an official partner for the 2017 3M Half Marathon. The partnership will provide participants with Red Bull during their race day experience. Additional race day activations are still being planned and will enhance the finish line festival.

“We’re glad to have Red Bull involved with the 3M Half Marathon,” said Jack Murray, co-owner of High Five Events. “Their crew will bring an energy to this event that will help participants fly through the downhill-to-downtown half marathon course on their way to a PR. ”

The original Red Bull energy drink and Red Bull sugarfree will be available to all participants at the start and finish lines and at every aid station along the half marathon course. Red Bull, first created 29 years ago in Austria, is well-known for their sponsorship of and involvement with sports, racing, and extreme adventures. In addition to product support throughout the course, the Red Bull team is currently working on additional audio and visual race day activations.

3M Half Marathon to Partner with Clif Bar

High Five Events is pleased to announce that Clif Bar & Company will be the Official Sports Nutrition for the 2017 3M Half Marathon. The partnership will provide runners with Clif Bar’s nutritious products before, during, and after one of the country’s fastest half marathons.

Clif Bar returns for another year to the 3M Half Marathon, set to take place on January 22, 2017. Runners can look for CLIF SHOT® Energy Gel on course at the CLIF® Energy Zone and other products at the finish line. In addition, the 3M Half Marathon and Clif Bar will increase community engagement and product awareness by offering free samples to training clubs, sampling product at running stores, and supporting various demo runs around Austin.
