This is my third year pacing the 90 minute group and it’s one of the highlights of my running. Been running in Austin for nearly 10 years and have been an avid runner since 1999. Love this distance and especially the race. Please introduce yourself at the start or during the race. Happy to help any way we can to help you cross the finish line at or before 90 minutes!

Brian Fagan

Brian began running 29 years ago at Kinwood High School. A past member of the US National Cycling Team, he raced bikes competitively in France and Belgium for 5 years before returning to Texas. He has run numerous trail races and ultramarathons and has previously paced for both the Austin Marathon and 3M 1/2 marathon.

Ted Davison

Ted Davison’s running career started many years ago in Zimbabwe as part of his triathlon training. When he went to college in England, Davison completed the London marathon, twice. He has now completed more than 22 marathons, an Ironman triathlon and over 20 ultra-distance races, including Western States 100, Leadville 100, Tahoe Rim Trail, The Bear, Bighorn, and the Tor Des Geants – 330K in Italian Alps. Since moving to Austin in 2001, Davison has run the Austin Marathon and 3M ½ marathon many times and this will be his seventh year being a pacer.

Joe Terracina

Joe ran his first half marathon 18 years ago. Since then, he has run 58 marathons, including running the the Boston marathon 11 times. He also ran a sub-3 hour marathon in 2014. He has been pacing this event for years, and loves helping other runners achieve their goals in this race.

This is my fourth time to pace the 3M half marathon, and it keeps getting better. The runners and crowds are great. I’ve been running one marathon a year for almost 19 years, with finishes at Boston, NY, Berlin, Chicago, St. Louis, Seattle Tunnel Light, Champaign (IL), Marathon, and Indianapolis marathons. My PR was three years ago at Tunnel Light at just under 3:19, and two years ago was my best Boston at just under 3:20. In Austin, I train with TwentySixTwo.org on the weekends. I occasionally run from Barton Springs Pool on weekdays, and love to jump in the pool after running on a hot day.

Robyn Dodge

Robyn is a veteran pacer and is currently the Austin Marathon Pace Team Captain. She has completed over 50 marathons, including finishing twelve consecutive Boston Marathons and numerous half marathons. She will run her thirteenth consecutive Boston Marathon in April. Robyn is punctual, consistent, and precise as a pacer. Professionally, Dr. Dodge is a professional archaeologist and works for an environmental consulting company in Austin. She is also a certified fitness instructor, teaching strength and Mat Pilates in her free time. Robyn is excited to assist athletes in achieving their goals on January 19th!

I have been running now for about 17 years. Some of my favorite marathons include Leadville, Chicago, Boston, NYC, and Disney. This is my first time pacing I am super excited to help others reach their goals. I am currently training for my first Ultra which is the Qubec Mega Trail 135km in July

Jose Reyes

Jose’s affair with long distance running started with the 2017 3M Half Marathon. After completion, he felt the need to try a full marathon which he did in Paris 2018. He joined Twenty-Six Two Marathon Club in the summer of 2018 and has completed four more marathons since then. Jose takes great pride and joy in pacing, especially the 3M half where he has paced for several years now.

Kara is a veteran pacer returning for her 10th year at the Austin International Half Marathon, formerly the 3M Half. A resident of Austin for over 10 years, she’s excited to guide runners through this local favorite. With over 20 marathons completed in 11 states and personal bests of 1:29 in the half and 3:20 in the marathon, Kara is passionate about helping others reach their running goals and sharing her love for the sport.

I started running in 2003 with the goal of a completing a single marathon. Soon after, I got hooked, as running helped me stay fit and alleviate work stress. I have been pacing the 3M half-marathons for many years and enjoy helping runners reach their goal. Furthermore, I look forward to doing the same in the Austin Marathon. I enjoy traveling to different locations to run marathons. I have completed 60+ marathons, including all the majors.

Stephanie trained with Twenty-Six Two Marathon Club for her first Austin marathon in 2008. During this training she ran her first 3M Half Marathon, on her birthday, and fell in love with the course and spirit of both runners and spectators. She has completed over fifteen marathons, including the Boston Marathon, and many half marathons over the last fifteen years. Running as a returning pacer for 3M, Stephanie looks forward to the excitement of race day and helping runners reach or exceed their race goals.

Katie is a long-time 3M Half Marathon pacer who has completed 50+ half marathons and 25+ marathons, including the Abbott Six Star Marathons: Boston, New York, Chicago, London, Berlin, and Tokyo. Katie’s approach to pacing the 3M Half Marathon is to maintain an even pace per mile with adjustments as needed when climbing hills. It’s okay to slow down when running up hill because you can make it up with less effort running down the other side of the hill. Make sure to say hello and introduce yourself when you join Katie’s pace group!

Cassandra Medrano, a lifelong Austinite and joyful runner, is a true inspiration. She has served as the official pacer for the 2005, 2006, and 2007 Austin Marathons, as well as the 2005 Rock ‘N Roll San Diego. As a dedicated coach, she has helped countless runners achieve their marathon dreams.

With each mile she runs, Cassandra honors children with autism and those battling cancer. She is excited to pace the Austin International Half Marathon and invites fellow runners to join her in this meaningful endeavor.
