As part of the permit to operate this event, Austin Public Health is requiring proof of vaccination or negative test within 72 hours of the event start (Friday, January 21). Required for all Participants, Volunteers, Staff, and Vendors. |
Saturday, Jan 22 |

7:30 AM | 3M Half Marathon First Wave Bibs 1-500 | |
7:35 – 8:25 | Wave starts every 5 minutes. Read more of what this means in the 2022 Guide and look up you start time here. The start line will close at 8:30. | |
8:30 AM | First Finisher Expected | |
8:45 AM | Shuttle Buses Start Returning to Start Line
Important: Due to the limitations of available buses and bus drivers caused by COVID-19, this year we are expecting longer than normal wait times for our shuttle bus service. Because of this, we are recommending that all participants arrange their own transportation to and from the start and finish lines. |

9:30 AM -11:00 AM | Awards available for pick up at the Information Tent | |
12:25 AM | 3M Half Marathon course closes | |
12:45 PM | Last shuttle departs the finish area and returns to the start area |

Weather Contingency Plan
In the event of inclement weather prior to 7:30 AM, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 45 minutes. Should the weather conditions continue to be unsafe for the run, the event will be canceled for all participants. Athletes will be notified of any changes that occur prior to the start of the event via email and social media.
