REGISTRATION CHANGES

All registrations for the 2026 Austin International Half are final and non-refundable.

If you purchased Spot Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) Insurance during registration, you can request a refund by filing a claim directly with Spot Insurance at spot@getspot.com.

If you did not purchase Spot Insurance, we’re happy to offer alternative options. Please review them carefully.

Once you’ve made your decision, complete the form to submit your request.

TRANSFER TO THE VIRTUAL EVENT

Participants can transfer to the Virtual Event.

  • Deadline: Available through January 11
  • Fee: No cost

TRANSFER TO THE ASCENSION SETON AUSTIN MARATHON, HALF MARATHON, OR 5K

Participants may transfer to the Ascension Seton Austin Marathon, Austin Half Marathon, or 5K, which takes place in February.

  • Deadline: Not available after 3:00 PM on Saturday of event weekend.
  • Fee: $30.00 transfer fee + any registration price difference at the time of transfer.
    • Example: If the Austin International Half registration fee was $89.00 and the Austin Half Marathon registration is currently $129.00, the total fee for the transfer would be $70.00 ($30.00 transfer fee + $40.00 price difference).

TRANSFER TO ANOTHER PERSON

Participants may transfer their registration to another participant of their choosing.

  • Deadline: Available through January 11
  • Fee: $40.00

How it works:
Once the request is approved, the original registrant (bib owner) will receive an email containing a personalized registration link, which includes the transfer fee. They must forward this link to the new participant. The new participant will complete the registration form and pay the transfer fee.

Notes:

  • The original registrant is responsible for finding their replacement.
  • All transfers must be processed through EventDog.com. Unauthorized bib exchanges will result in disqualification, removal from race results, and potential bans from future events.
  • Transaction fees are non-refundable.
  • Event shirt sizes are not guaranteed for transferred registrations.

IMPORTANT POLICIES 

All registration transfers must be approved and processed through High Five Events and the Austin International Half.

  • Anyone caught attempting to sell or transfer their race entry/bib to another person outside of this process will have their registration revoked, be disqualified, and removed from the race. They will also be prohibited from participating in future events owned or produced by High Five Events.
  • Similarly, anyone attempting to participate in the event using another participant’s race entry/bib will face the same penalties.

Transfers can only be requested up to the deadlines listed on the event website. Requests cannot be processed for an event that has already taken place.

This policy is subject to change at any time. Updates may be made to reflect changes in ticket availability, operational requirements, or unforeseen circumstances. These adjustments may include modifications to deadlines, fees, or procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the event and to accommodate evolving logistical or safety considerations. Participants are encouraged to regularly review the event website for the most up-to-date information regarding policies and procedures.
